ABOUT POLI

 

The Polytechnic School of Engineering of Pernambuco (POLI-UPE) was founded in 1912 by the visionary idea of some professors of the old Gymnasium of Pernambuco.

 

POLI is the oldest unity of the University of Pernambuco (UPE) and offer 8 graduation courses, especializations courses and masters. 

All the courses in POLI  are among the 35 best in Brazil , according to the Folha de S. Paulo journal, in 2015.  

 

Nowadays, POli has:

 

- 150 professors

- 3037 undergraduate students

- 367 graduate students

- 40 administrative staff
